WHAT ABOUT THE FAMILY? I have the absolute joy of having three wonderful ladies in my life...my wife Kris, 2 year old daughter Madeleine, and 6 month old daughter Ellia.

WHO ARE SOME OF YOUR FAVORITE AUTHORS? I am stretched in my faith by the writing of CS Lewis, GK Chesterton, John Eldredge, Philip Yancey and Donald Miller. And I have read every book written by Jon Krakauer.
HOW DO YOU SPEND YOUR SPARE TIME? I spend much of my spare time with my wonderful family...playing in the dirt and collecting rocks with Madeleine, making silly faces at Ellia, and traveling as much as possible with Kris. I split that with time in the beautiful Sierra Nevada mountains skiing, climbing, mountaineering, backpacking and exploring the depth of God's beauty as reflected through Creation.

HOW DO YOU SPEND YOUR SPARE TIME? I really enjoy being outside in the Sierras, whether I’m riding a bike, hiking with my family, rock climbing with my wife, or sitting beside an alpine lake, though I get to do this far too little. At home I like to do woodwork and make furniture and gifts. I also love to play sports. I pretty much like them all, although basketball and lacrosse are my favorite. I like to watch movies and TV, probably too much. My wife and I love to play cards and games, especially Nerts and Charoo.
